1. Behavior

*No type of abusive language or gesture will be permitted by players or coaches. NO EXCEPTIONS !

*No type of heckling of players, coaches, or spectators will be permitted. NO EXCEPTIONS!

1st offense-Verbal warning.......2nd offense-Removal from game

*Failure to comply with these rules will result in a suspension for the remainder of the season.

2. Attendance

*Players are expected to participate in scheduled practices and games. Please notify the coach, in advance, to be excused.

*Unexcused or excessive absences from scheduled practices and/or games can make players ineligible for a portion or all of the following game. Attendance at practice is mandatory.

3. Games

*The game shall consist of seven innings. A pitcher is limited to five innings, per game and seven innings in three days. Leading off, and stealing bases ARE permitted.

*Be dressed to play. Check your glove and shoes before each game or practice (in case repair/replacement is needed). Arrive for games in a complete uniform. For practices, come with an extra long-sleeve top or warm-up jacket, plus baseball or sweat pants (NO SHORTS!), plus a cap, your cup and cleats: rubber, only........ NO STEEL SPIKES

*Use time wisely. Show up NO LATER THAN 60 MINUTES PRIOR to a home game, 90 MINUTES PRIOR to a road game. On arrival, hustle in and out of the dugout, be on the field in full uniform by 50 minutes prior, and get on with your pre-game warm up. Our practices will be structured for maximum value in minimum time, so be on time for those, too. When we start as a team, we think like a team.

*Let coaches handle disputes and disagreements while you focus on performance. Players will not argue calls/decisions during games. Equipment throwing, abuse of park facilities, or swearing may get you removed from the game. Insubordination will put you on the bench. Co-operation in practice is just as important.

*A runner must slide or avoid the fielder if a play is being made at the base. The umpire will rule the runner "out" if he felt that the runner deliberately interfered with the fielder.

4. General
*Inform your coach as soon as possible about ANY absence. It really helps to know when vacations are scheduled, appointments, etc.

*Every player is expected to help pick up team equipment. Do not leave garbage in the dugout. I prefer that players drink water or juice during games. Save the pop until after the game. You are expected to attend a short team meeting after every game.
