Pitchers Ted Kubalak and Joe Batcha combined for a one-hitter...Kenny Flermoen and Dan Hafner each had a triple...the game ball was awarded to Eric Foret for excellence in baserunning

Kollin Stevens pitched five innings, giving up three hits and two runs. In the bottom of the seventh, with one out, the WIZARDS donned the rally caps. Down by six runs, the team put together a seven run comeback for the win. An incredible game.....

The Athletics were the #1 seed, so we were the visitors in this game. The WIZARDS were ready to play, and scored 10 runs in the first inning. They battled back to a 4 run deficit after three innings, 11-7. Neither team was able to score in the fourth. In the fifth inning, 5 WIZARDS scored, giving closer Kollin Stevens some breathing room. Stevens gave up only one earned run in four innings, and three runs due to fielding errors...the Athletics go to the loser's bracket, and the WIZARDS are in the CHAMPIONSHIP !!
